My window's mail is playing silly beggars. First it all changed it's setup. Send wasn't where it used to be etc. I did a restore and it went
back to how it was but I lost all of my emails in my inbox. This was before the restore. There were about 45 emails - many of which I had not replied to yet.
I looked in delete and they are not there. Anyone help?

does it have an Undo Restore? Or Back to previous settings?
If not, then they are probably lost or overwritten by newer files. Maybe Liam has more ideas? HTH., Bart

Jacs, have to gone back to virgin and logged in there, perhaps all your emails are still there if you didn't delete them?

Oopsy,
just seen this Hun! just a very quick reply... I haven't got vista atm....but from memory Maggie is right Hun, but you have to set a tick under advanced uin Mail that says leave my messages on the server. otherwise they et deleted when they come into Mail. (Unless it's an IMAp account , like a paid Hotmali one) If you look at Maintenance in mail there will be a store folder look at that in Explore and show suffix under fiolder options to see the suffix. and also show hidden files and system files. then search for *.(suffix) and under advanced include system files. it'll be on google too .... good luck Hun ! |

I looked on ntl - not there. Now whatever email I open - when I shut down and go back - thaat email is gone. COnfused.

I am giving up wit window mail. I can't figure it out. What else is there that is free. ?? Using the ntl site to get my mail is ok - but when I go about
for 15 minutes, I have to log back in again. It doesn't make a noise to let me know I have mail. I don't want to go to hot-mail as I don't want to
change my email. Any help you guys. Many thanks. x x x
